Any local shops to fix a/c?
I am looking for a good shop to service my a/c system in my vette. Anyone know of one in the Colonial Heights/Chester area?

It would be up to $170 with freon and dye. But if you have to charge it that often, just start the car, AC on full blast, and follow the lines and connections and look for oil stains. Also check your condensor for oil stains. A leak that bad should be somewhat obvious.

By looking just in one area I can see the line coming out of the compressor has some wet build up almost like oil has been spilt in one area. Also up near the low side where I fill it up. That has some build up on the line. I wonder how much a leak test and fixing them would run. I have never worked on the a/c in any car.

the leak test can run as high as $170, that includes dye and freon. It sounds like your seals are bad in those areas. They would explain what needs to be fixed and at what cost.
