Cleaned up the frame and bondo'ed/glazed all blemishes... including the road rash from a previous owner:

a little darker than that but with just as much "pop".
I got to cleaning the case and it's pitted pretty bad. SO I just spray bombed it black, save the carb, intake mani, etc. Basicly black engine block now. Looks a helluva lot better than the pitting that was on it.
EDIT: This glazing putty isn't worth a shit. I've got less then a 1/32" laid and it's still cracking.
Smells like spray paint in the house
