enjoy ball joint issues and other suspension parts going bad. the 7MGT-E experiences head gasket failure typically. the fix is an HKS (or other) metal headgasket. o-ringing the block also helps. it's a cruiser car, although i have seen them built and they're nasty!

 

thanks for the info... i'll have to see what happens... i doubt it's going to be turbo and if it is i doubt that i'll actually win the bid cuz im sure there will be someone there that wants it more than me. even if it's not turbo i might bid on it anywaz just cause im trying to get the car for transportation, not to have a fast car. i just want a stick shift before i transfer to ODU next year cuz i'll have to do a lot more driving than i do now.

even if it is turbo and i do win the bid and bring it home... i doubt i'll ever modify it. im not really into toyota all that much.

if i do win it tho, i'll bring it out to the carshow in april and dyno it for the hell of it... then maybe i can finally meet all you all in CNU motorsports so you don't jump my shit if i post in your forum.

whoo... Turbocharged with a 5spd manual, and the Targa top! I'm def. gonna try and win this thing... runs good, sounds good... needs work tho... won't be drivable for a couple weeks min... the driver's side door's locking mechanism is stuck so it only opens if you're very lucky (i was dumb and the one time i got it open, i closed it again)... it's got a fierce power steering leak from some unknown location (about 1 drip a second)... but that seems like the only things really wrong with it... i read through the owner's previous papers and it had a new clutch put on in 1999 and has had the timing belt replaced... so it seejms like it should be a good car with some TLC... we'll see tho... i def odn't have my hopes up for winning it... there was some 16 year old kid there and "mommy and daddy" seemed like they would be willing to drop a pretty penny for their little boy... so i'll let you know what happens tomorrow.

 

Oh, I thought I'd mention that my TT 91 Supra (they have a TT model) in Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero, was the sexiest fucking car ever.

White with a CF hood, some black rims, somet ype of JDM spoiler.mmm.. I used to be obsessed with MKIII supras.

 

Dude if it's a 90, turbo, and manual with sub 120k you be stupid to pass it up for anything under 6k.

 

lost the bid... darn it. but, that supra was pretty nice... i think i'll have to try and find someone to sell me another supra... if you know anyone selling an older turbo one antime, let me know. i might be interested.
