Either way, I like the idea... If You Keep The Damn Thing. I don't like seeing stuff built then sold to some ass cap that will tear it apart at a whim. hen again it's not me monies or business. lolWhat ya need to do is bring ya ass inland and come riding with us sometime! Bring Freddy with ya, if you don't wheel your own there are PLENTY of seats open!
That sounds like it may turn up something. Man, they stopped the old MTR a while ago. I'd still like to get o set of them and try them out. Everyone I know had a set liked them a lot. I don't really do any mud so what little they would be in, they would prob do great!
I don't blame you a bit on the radial thing. That's my only thing about that type tire. As for me, mine rarely sees the road enough that tire wear is really a factor anymore. I've considered a radial after these LTBs are done, I just don't know though. I've had such great luck with Bias tires. The only issue I've had with a Bias is once at Uwharrie, I had just put on a set of 33'' TSLs (The morning of the trip, they were brand new) and there they had just layed down a fresh layer of shale on the trail access roads. I had a sharp piece hit the tire just right and it went in between the center lugs and flattened my tire. I put the spare on and took the other to the outpost and patched it and it became my trail spare. That was the one and only issue I've had with a bias.
My only issue with bias was on my boggers I lost a big because a rock chipped my alloy wheel enough to cause a crack and leak air. Never a problem with the tire though. I drive the Jeep everyday now but maybe 10 miles in a day, so tires aren't to big of an issue anymore like it was when I had to sell my boggers.
Boggers + Road = Wasted money. That's my opinion anyway.
Have you switched out to a steel wheel? I ran a set of alloys once and did basically the same thing when I lived in Radford. We'd hit up Pott's Mountain right often and I busted one once. It was on a Sat., the next Monday my steelies were ordered.
Have you considered just the plain o'l TSL? If you have enough room for the 35, you may be able to run the 36" TSL or what about the Q78 (a 35.5") TSL? With only being driven 10 or so miles on the road, they'd be great for you.

$329.75+a gallon of distilled water if i converted everything to amsoil
oil change, coolant flush, thermostat replacement, clean my intake filter, tcase fluid, front axle fluid. all needs to be done here soon
amsoil for all of that.. $158.05, and air filter cleaner and pre-filter cover $57.60. thermostat was $14. $30 spark plugs.
fucking maintenance costs. :/
