i'm goin to throw out a random guess that you are all new. (well new to me) and dont realize that we've had that conversation too many times to count. Ricers are abundant (moreso in San Antonio and CA.) and there is nothing you can do about it. Random isolated spots that change often were the best solution, but people whine about not being invited, and any other times many people don't show up anyway. Yeah... i forgot what i was going to say, this thread is gay.

 

the whole... "dont post spots and ricers wont show up"... isnt very accurate. there coming no matter what and theres nothing that u can do. im just sick of "hanging out" for 4 hours. i go out to ames to get one thing done, and that one thing... well its not racing

 

the way i see it, as long as there are cars theres street racing. plain and simple. that car thats fuckin with you on your way home from work...so youre enticed into a race. street racings never gonna go away.

 

but street racing isn't anything new............my dad used to do it in the 50's and 60's.......

LOL...mines 49, and he remembers back when they raced on Magruder, and the 1/4 mile marks were done..lol..the ones that are still there (?) today...lol. Dad owned a z28, t-tops, jet black, and it was totaled when a 17 yr old, no license, no permit, in a stolen truck hit him..talk abotu bad luck, that was almost MY car. *cries*
