Spotted sticking out of garage during the XGames a few weeks ago

I wish this thing would hurry up and hit show rooms, I'm in the mood for a new daily so I can park my F250.

Nope because Ford is afraid it would take away sales from the Mustang. If I can find the article where the CEO of Ford US states this ill post it. That's why we will never get a Focus RS.

If that's true than that is retarded. Sales are sales. If it would take away from the mustang, then hey maybe it's because it's a better fucking car. Besides I doubt it really would, they are two completely different cars. Curious to see what the MSRP is going to be, I might looking into one. Really disappointed they didn't incorporate Revoknuckle and a LSD in it though.

This is something that USED to be true

Ford kept the horse power of the Mustang low in the 90s, especially with the SN95 in order to keep insurance low which in turn increased sales.

The best example being the V6s SHOs which were capable of 10,000 RPM redlines, and 8,000rpm in daily driven form. Locked down to 220hp as to not exceed the 225hp of the Mustang of the time.

These days Ford has really lost that inhibition with a more global approach.

Plus with 300hp V6s and 400hp V8 GTs the high powered 4 cylinders will still be below what the Mustang is offering.

Not only this, but I imagine that the demographic that is being targeted will be totally different. I totally expect this to be priced in the same range as say a MazdaSpeed 3, Civic SI, Cobalt SS, etc.

I'm most excited to see how different review groups rate the suspension.
