having a problem with wiring sidemarkers in 98 civic
So today i went to wire the sidemarkers, there are two wire coming from the marker itself (black, white) and theres the three that come from the corner lights in the headlight(black, green, red) that you tap into... and i did the driverside first, black to black and i put the white from the marker to the red in the corner light..tried it and it worked fine, OK on to the the passenger side and i did the same thing but nothing happend...the sidemarker the bulb its good and the corner light and taillight still light up but the sidemarker has nothing...i double checked all my connections just to be sure.. help what am i doing wrong hear..wiring isnt my thing

Re: having a problem with wiring sidemarkers in 98 civic
If I remember, corner lights are 3 wires because they are on with the headlights and parking lights, and change brightness when the turn signals are on. If the sidemarkers are only on when the turn signals are on, they only need to be two wires.
And no, I'm not going to tell you exactly what to do. I'm going to get you thinking about what needs to be done so you can figure it out.
If you want the easy way out then you should be able to find exactly what you need from Google.
