Depends; if it's the first time that your crank pulley is coming off, it could take as much as a 3/4" impact. If it's come off before, then a regular 1/2" impact will usually do.

I'm going to assume you don't have an impact gun or the correct tools since you are asking this question, then in which case you can remove the starter and CAREFULLY stop the flywheel from moving and then use a 1/2 breaker bar to break the bolt.
