Hey guys need a little help on amp install on my is250/
The Car itself has a factory amp and a sub. I need to install a mono amp using speaker level inputs.
Where can i tap in the speaker level inputs coming out of the amp? and also the remote wire? If anyone has specific wiring diagram of the harness or anything that can help me with the install.

grab the line level outputs at the factory sub or at least coming off of the factory amp...that way its a good signal and it most likely will already be at a lower frequency(80 hz or so)

remote wire can go to any accessory wire in the vehicle...just grab your meter find an accessory near/in the ignition harness

The rear speakers are usually a convenient location to get the speaker outputs. Most monoblock amps have a built-in crossover, so there isn't any problem with using regular speaker outputs from the stock system UNLESS there is an active or passive crossover built into the stock system before the speakers. Basically you wouldn't want to tap off of speaker outputs that were already highpass filtered to protect the stock speakers.

thanks for the replies, sounds good, i will work on it tonight. I don't have a meter so does anyone know what color wire is remote wire from the factory amp for Is250? i will also keep searching google if i find it. thanks
