How difficult is it to replace an automatic tranny with a maunal one?
I have a 2000 dodge neon. I have it FS in the domestic thread. But if I could get information on how to replace the tranny and put a new manual one in, i wouldnt sell it. I want a manual car. How difficult would it be to cut through the bottom to put the tranny and gear shift there? is it possible?

it isn't that hard but you're going to end up spending more on it than the car is worth. sell it and buy something other than a neon. you'll thank us later.
