How many Type R's were made for the US market? is this car really that big of a deal?

The owner before last was some kid who almost fucked it up. He added a sub or whatever to it lol. There's only one made and he got his hands on it, I'm glad a collector got it.

No almost about it. He freaking drilled on a fuse into the firewall in the engine bay. Who the fick drills into ANYTHING of a one of one, concept car. On that note. WHO THE FICK DRIVES A CONCEPT CAR ON THE STREETS!?!?!? On top of that, he drilled an amp into the back of the rear seats. Since it was black leather which is the ONLY black leather offered in any 1g DSM there is no replacement. The guy has to get normal 1g seats die the carpet on the back and the pull the leather off the original seats and put them on the replacement ones.
While it will look the same, it is NOT the same as original. And we all now the difference in value between a restored car and an all original car.
