Hello all,
I am co-running a 9 pin no tap bowling tournament at SeaSide lanes on Dam Neck Base. We are raising money to donate to the Navy Seal Foundation.

When: 11/25/11 @ 6:00pm, sign ups start at 5:00pm

Where: SeaSide Lanes
1912 Regulus Ave.
Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2098
(Once you enter through the gate go straight and on the other side of the softball fields to the right is the bowling alley)

How Much: $25
$5 towards lineage, bowl 4 games.
$10 towards prize fund, There will be a men's division and women's division. We will try our best to pay out 1 in every 7 bowlers, but that will be determined on how many entries there are. It will be the cumulative score of all 4 games that determines your place.
$10 towards donation

We will also have bowling balls from Lane 1 and Motiv to raffle off. All the proceeds will be directly donated to the NSF.
We will also have a 50/50 raffle. Half goes to winner and the other half goes towards the donation.

9-Pin no tap is basically a 9 count or strike on your first ball counts as a strike. Any other outcome of your first ball will be played as normal.


If you are interested and do not have access to a military base just PM me your first and last name and I will forward it to the gate so you have access for the tournament. All you will need is a Driver's license and the knowledge that your car MAY be subject to search. I haven't seen a search in a few years but I do want to give the heads up.

Thank you for your interest and if you have anyone you know that may be interested let me know. We have about 20-25 spots left. Also, don't be intimidated, I've seen all the sign-ups thus far and I think there is only like 3 bowlers who average over 200. The majority of the bowlers are anywhere from 140-180 AVG.

I'm not sure if my Friday night league is bowling that night or not. I doubt they are. I might be down. If Chesapeake is doing the 10 game tourney on Thanksgiving like they did last year I'll be doing that so I doubt I'm gonna want to bowl in a tourney on Friday as well.
