More capable then the 96-97 platform....93 is a good start, probably the fastest out of the box than any of the lt1's, even though the 96-97 lt1's were rated w/ 10 more hp. My buddy has a 93 w/ 193k miles on it..w/ a muffler and a cold air it has outran quite a few bolt on 4v's.
