tach install on 02 celica gt
tryin to find out how to install the tach on a 02 celica gt before i start.....it has individual coil packs for each cylinder so i assume youd wire it through the comuter but which wire....if im way off let me know but i just need to know how to do it and get the most accurate reading....thanks

step one - get up to 50mph.
step two - roll down the window.
step three - put the tach in your hand and cock back.
step four - release.
step five - brush your shoulders off.

Hey Nicky.
I am not sure, but can't you tap into the tach feed wire going from the pcm to the tach. I know for the 4.6L if you have a COP you have to get an adapter for that. If you have coil packs not a COP, then you can tap into the tach feed wire from the tach to the pcm.
You can also call Autometer techline and they will be able to tell you what you need.
