That's a damn nice truck!

Good job JB, that looks really good! That's one of my favorite body style years for those trucks. My grandfather used to have one just like that, in red and 4x4 though. Years of hauling wood and what not in upstate NY took its toll though.. Rust ate it up pretty badly

What motor does it have?

You may have mentioned it earlier, but I'm freakin' retarded.

300 straight 6 with 128k original miles. Only the carb rebuild an a few gaskets have been changed. Great little motor. Need to change out the 3spd though. At 55mph she's taching at 3200-3400rpm. So if anyone has a 4spd 2wd trans or 4wd setup let me know. I know a 4spd will bolt right in using the same clutch/flywheel I just put in. I'm researching to see if a 5spd will do the same.

does anyone know anything about spring perches?

specifically the ones on my 2000 f350 whether they are bolted on or welded on?

im debating on keeping the damn thing and re-lifting it like 3-4 inches and putting it on some 35's

Perches should be welded on your axle.
