I have had acouple friends do the switch and love it. I'd imagine it would suck if you ride multiple bikes that aren't set up the same way though.

Actually, based on what you took. I think I understand it. Flip the shifter attachment so it is above instead of below, and at an angle at little towards the peddle. Doesn't look too hard.
Never mind. My attachment arm at the little gears is angled so you can't swing it around. Why you ask? Idk. Probably so I have to buy something to change it. Hmm.
