motortrend ran 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and 1/4 mile at 11.6 @ 125.7mph. it's pretty incredible.

Yep. Bone stock. And according to Livernois, this car is still gaining power as it loosens up a bit. It's up to 613rwhp now. That's around 80 hp MORE than a Corvette ZR1, over a hundred more than a Camaro ZL1, and nearly 200 hp more than a Z06.

Nice... but it has to lug around 400lbs more than a ZR1 and 800 more than a Z06. Plus get back to me on what it dynos after running around a track for 15 minutes in the summer.

It's a cool car, but not my style at all. It'd take the new Boxster S over the piggy...



EDIT - had to change my weights. Surprised the car is under 3900lbs... figured 4100ish.

How did I know Brian would show up as soon as I mentioned a Corvette. I'm only comparing numbers because they're the other big power American V8s.
