Cycle whore thread

buddy of mine has been talking about getting his m class for a month or so. he's scheduled to take the class towards the end of this month, but texted me today that he just bought a 2012 ninja 650 and some gear. typical kawi green. looks like i'm finally going to have somebody local to ride with.

650 is a good first bike, imo. He won't out grow it all that fast, it's a little more forgiving, and certainly enough pep to have fun with.
Hell, I have been riding for a little over 20 years, and still have fun every time I get on a 650. When I buy again, I don't think I will get anything over a 750. I am old(er)now, don't need all the go fast shit anymore.
Southwade, I am not sure I ever said it, but I dig your Ninja. Looks great. They have come a long way!

The more I ride it, the more I start to love this engine, too. Keep the revs up and it has plenty enough grunt to make me grin on a regular basis.
Quick clip. You'll notice the camera wasn't mounted very good. So only right handers were visable. Tried to find the vid of me passing the 1098, no dice. Arghhh. Was lazy with the edit, so if you only see sky, should clip out after a few secs.
