my strips are about 2/3 that size, tires only have 500 miles on them, and I'm a newb rider.
Now, if the center was bald and he had strips, that'd be different.
Not really... My strips are about a 1/4 inch in the back, none in the front. None of that was done in Norfolk, where I live. I have to drive through the tunnel all the way up to Williamsburg to find roads good enough that I feel confident enough to start trying to get my knee down. The roads up there are really nice. I live near the beach, sandy, rocky concrete roads with asphault patches are the norm. Even with me hanging way off I really can't get low because the tires are skipping and sliding over changing traction surfaces. All of this is why I'm seriously considering trading my Ninja for a WR250X.
