Just curious.... Why don't you let Kevin tune it rather than rely on AM Muscle/Bama?

Not worth it IMHO. They said it would be $300 with the dyno time to tune it. The bama tune is $141 and runs good. Plus I get free updates for life and anytime I want them to look over anything, all I have to do is a datalog and send it over.

I get that, but you've been through two tunes and been to the dyno twice? Seems like you would have spent more than $300 already. How many times do you expect it to need updating? Do you have a WBO2 (or does the stock ECM use one)? That's another expense if you have to datalog and get them to help you out.

Not trying to be an asshole, just trying to figure this out. I've never been a fan of the whole "tune by mail" thing if you've got a reputable tuner in the area. Especially when the savings are "meh" on such a new vehicle.

Dyno Time X2 - $150

If you need a WBO2 for future work add another $200+.

I get what you're saying, but mail order tunes can be quite good with datalogging. And so far I have spent $275 for everything plus the cost of the handheld tuner... And my car comes stock with 2 WBO2 sensors
