Coming to work.When I get off 81 at my exit every morning I will let first gear run out,grab second,proceed the speed limit.I look behind me everytime,all that was behind me was a suv.When I got near main street I looked and saw a state trooper behind me.(oh shit)Well you know when I turned right onto main street he turned the lights on.(oh boy)I pulled over on main street,he got out asked me what was my rush,No rush sir,just going to work."Well I saw you take off fast from that stop sign"Yes I did sir,I do it every morning sir.Then he asked the typical Q's "how low is your car"Is that the stock muffler".No sir this car is not stock,"well its illegal".He went to his car,came back after a few,"have a nice day Chris"You too sir,thank you.Long story short I shit my pants this morning.I just got my license back from being restricted last week.I guess I wont be doing that anymore.

 

yeah, i just got back from court this morning..... got my license suspended for the third time now.... and a 280 dollar fine

guess its time to buy a car that cant do anything but the speed limit

Well, I am not sure but I don't think there is a law against accelerating too fast. I think as long as you maintain the speed limit and don't break traction then you are fine. I know how you feel though. I just got my license back in march so I have been keeping it easy while I am on the 6 month probation.

 

they can ticket you for takin off too fast or what they dont think is reasonable acceleration.

 

yea it has something to do with "intent to race or intent to be stupid" lol....

I don't think I could get an exhibition of speed if I wanted to. I'd probably get pulled over and the cop would say "Nice try."
