Center Caps
Does anyone know where I can find/order a blank set of metal center caps, or know of anyone that can custom make a set of metal ones? I am getting my wheels powdercoated by Twist & Turns, but the color I am doing will be a custom color that you can't exactly match with pant, and I don't want the regular silver center caps I have now sticking out like a sore thumb. I'd like just a plain/blank set that I can have powdercoated along with the wheels. If anyone can help out, please let me know.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Center Caps
i measured the diameter of the original center caps for the Borbet wheels i've got on my hatch and ordered a generic set off of Ebay that were the same size. Then I ordered a set of flat Honda emblems to cover the blank center caps.

So they basically look like factory Honda center caps in my Borbet wheels...

Re: Center Caps
Yeah, thats cool. But what I need to find is a set of blank metal caps that will pop in place of the plastic caps I have now with a 2-1/4" inner diameter. I e-mailed a couple of companies to see if they can make me a set in the size I need we shall find out! If I can do this, then I can just have them powdercoated to match the wheels.

If it's flat you could have a place like B&M sheet metal press you out 4 flat pieces of 1/8th in steel or aluminum and have that powder coated. Then use an auto body adhesive to attach them.

Re: Center Caps
I ended up ordering a pack of 10 2-1/4" steel caps from McMaster-Carr. I got them in today and they fit (all I have to do is bend the metal tabs back after they are placed in the hole). I will now be dropping off the wheels tomorrow or Friday at the latest with Twist & Turns and getting the wheels and caps done at the same time so everything is uniform. I am just waiting on the e-mail from them to let me know all the materials came in. I had the tires removed on Saturday by Wayne at Quality, so I am ready to go. I decided on this color:

I was going to go with a magnesium blue, but decided against it since i want to keep the car clean. I think this color will look nice imo.

Re: Center Caps
$356 with everything. I had them order the powder/clear and handle all the shipping and everything. I didn't want to deal with possibly ordering the wrong thing or having any type of mishap.
