98 civic bubling from resevior
Names Benny, i got a 98 civic with a stock y8. replaced the thermostat recently and now having issues of bubling from the resevior. comp test was 140 across and 135 on one cylinder. oil is not milky, no leaks anywhere, not coming out of the exhaust just from the resevior. did bleed the system once i hooked everything back up from the thermostat replacement. doesnt overheat. thoughts.....

Could just be air evaporating out of the cooling system. If there isn't an overheating problem, I wouldn't worry about it. In the mean time just keep an eye on your temp gauge and fluid levels.

You've taken the radiator cap off to work on the coolant system, and I'm guessing that the cap isn't sealing properly anymore. Get a new radiator cap and see if that solves anything. Even if it doesn't, you're only out a few bucks and it was probably due for replacement anyway.
