Well I haven't ridden in years so I didn't want to get anything rediculously fast and I didn't want to drop too much coin either. I just picked up a 2003 Buell XB9R Firebolt with 1200 miles. It should be a great bike for a year or two. I'll have plates for it on Wednesday so if anybody wants to get up and go for a ride anytime after that I'm down. Take it easy on me though, like I said, I haven't ridden in a couple years so I'm not trying show off just yet.
Well, I like having something that's a little bit different. I'm kind of a Harley guy at heart but I wanted something that was still fun to ride. My first choice was an XB12S Lightning because it handles like a champ but was still pretty comfortable to ride. I just happened to find a great deal on this Firebolt so I took it. I'm sure within a year and a half to two years I'll be trading it for either a XB12S or a V-Rod.
Anyway, if any of you see a tattooed white guy on a white Buell it's most likely me.
Props for getting something different..... I looked at the Triumph 600 Daytona and really wanted a Vrod. When I get tired of racing around, I'll get a cruiser. Damn the Honda Rune looks sweet....peace
