The previous link to Gunsamerica.com shows a listing that is no longer available. Who even knows when that listing was.

This is a link to a search on the same website. I just did the search for "colt le6920mp". Only six listings and the lowest one is $1650.00, which I would consider a reasonable offer.

If someone is an idiot and has money burning a hole in their pocket, they will spend $1800. Everyone else will just place an order for $1200 wait a few weeks and enjoy. The dropping of the AWB by Reid was the nail in the coffin of price gouging. Supply has caught up and demand is dying down, the inventories in stock are still at a premium in an effort to cash in on the panic. Auction sites like gunsamerica/gunbroker are usually filled with people like you gouging price. I just happen to post the link as it was the initial search result. Any store/online distributor that isn't concerned with the almighty dollar hasn't raised their prices, with good reason as wholesale/distributor prices haven't increased. The massive spikes were attributed to a supply/demand as you pointed out however it is now a non issue. Good luck with sale.

P.S.
Since the events that have transpired in the senate my offer is now $1100, right at MSRP. If nothing else comes through feel free to pm me. I'm sure this is a massive loss on your end, but if you get desperate enough and since your "forced to sell", it's an offer nonetheless.

After much searching I have lowerd price to something i feel is fair, Not to VADriven standards I am sure and If you can post a link of where these guns are selling for $1100 then I guess I have no leg to stand on. I know you all say that the supply is meeting the demand, but from what I can see right now no one has anything in stock and no one knows when they will be getting anything in stock. My local dealer will not even allow you to place an order because they have no idea when they will be coming in. From the few I have found online they are priced any where from $1600-$2200. I did find one online distributor that would allow you to backorder one but the wait was 6-12 months they did have a great price of $1229.95 and show MSRP being $1399.99. But for that $1229.95 you dont even know if you will get it this year. Here is a link.

Not that i'm trying to bash, but i will go to a local dealer here in Va Beach and snap a picture of their Inventory and how full they are....

And as far as "supply and demand" goes. the Demand THERE might be high with the supply low but the supply is HIGH here and the DEMAND is Meh...

Thats cool. I understand that some places may have more supply than others. Here in Roanoke, the supply still has not met up with the demand. Last week a local dealer had something like 19 ARs come in and they were all sold that day. The reason i posted on here is becasue I know people from all over VA use this site. The VA beach area was not my main target demographic. So if you can get the same rifle in your area for a lower cost i dont blame you for not making me an offer. But just because you can get them doesnt mean everyone else can.

That is not true at all. My boss's boss was at Gander Mtn. the other day waiting for ammo, and they announced they got quite a few AR's in stock if anyone wanted one....they only sold 2 that day. I also know of another shop local to Roanoke that had quite a few AR's in stock last time I checked.
