I could care less about having a car with 850 mad v-tak HP these days. I started losing interest in fast cars after I got a crotch rocket. Then the tickets for driving fast added up, plus the bills for repairs for highly modded cars added up... Plus I got a little older. Now Id rather have a car that looks really good and is reliable. Different strokes for different folks.

I actually talked to a few S2000 guys last night, and I think some of them are planning on that tonight.

I really could care less about HP too. If I wanted HP, I wouldnt have bought an S2000, I'd have bought a Terminator. I wanted a better drivers car than a NA miata that I could afford, and that list is pretty short and distinguished. Much like my penis.
An S2000 is also much like a short but distinguished penis. It's all how you use it.

Said turbo-kit fixes that torque issue; now said car will handle the same, and drive better

The problem is the power delivery of a turbo car. If you're driving hard, any sudden burst of torque is just going to upset the rear of the car that much more, or you have to wait longer to put the power down, which defeats the purpose of the car. If I were to ever do anything to give the car more HP it would be a blower to keep a stock power curve anyway.

I know I wouldn't want a turbo'd S on track, especially one with high boost.
I completely get where you're coming from. Thing is, some of the fastest road course S2000s are N/A, with nearly stock engines. It all comes down to shocks, aero, tires, and weight. And I'm talking $5k+ shocks, obnoxious wings, gutted interiors, and R-comps. Most of the top Japanese companies are all running N/A cars as their primary race car... ASM, Spoon, Mugen (when they used to care about the S2000), J's, etc.
I know I wouldn't want a turbo'd S on track, especially one with high boost.
