That's a perpose built snow bike not a trials bike, trials bikes are for going slow and climbing random shit maybe you're thinking of a snowmobile?

Lol I know what a trials bike is, I learned how to ride on a trials bike and grew up riding them. My dad is huge into trials.

I totally didn't see that ski on the front.

Thought the bike was some monstrosity with a tank track meant to go up and over anything.

I'm going to say the term originated literally from the verb scramble, because that's what the races were called.
