Big Hole in LS Block?
Iv search but couldn't find anything so help!
Ls has a hole on the back of the block. Please bare with me, I'm new to this. I was told I can run a PCV Box or a block off and run a catch can?
What will be my best bet? Is that hole suppose to be there??
Hole looks broken off and jagged edges...
Please help thanks!

Re: Big Hole in LS Block?
Your picture doesn't work, but what you're describing sounds a little frightening. You shouldn't have any jagged holes in the block, unless a connecting rod decided it wanted some fresh air and went on a rampage.

HOLY SHIT! that took like 10 whole seconds of me not being lazy to figure out...
you can block it off and i'd explain why thats bad, but if you are asking questions then you are most definitely not going to understand what positive crankcase ventilation does anyway...
find one from the junkyard/dealer and install everything like factory, just save yourself the trouble and leave the engineering to somebody else...
