It doesn't look overly gaudy, although I never understood the point of buying an SUV and then lowering it.

Probably because these days the most off road action people see is the speed bumps in a mall parking lot, people are obsessed with MPGs too and AWD hurts that. It is an image thing I think, a minivan would do everything these people want (those who claim to NEED a SUV for the kids) but they don't want to be seen in one.

That said I am slightly guilty since I own a small SUV, but I did get AWD and didn't lower it like a douche.
