But like I said; just take it to a Texaco or something.

Maybe ill do the texaco thing, and call it a day, thanks

Just go buy some amber flushmounts and swap them out. You should be fine then.

I agree take it to a texaco or meineke or somethin. cycle world failed mine twice. once cause the tire was worn (which it was that one was legitimate) when i took it back after the new tires were put on they said my headlight was not dot approved(the blue looking h4 headlight) and my brakes were too low. i took the brakes out and they had a ton of pad on them but for teh sake of argument i changed them but then i took it to meineke and they passed it in like 10 minutes. they hit you on big things like tires , or no headlight but they let the little crap go.

yea your right on the texaco, the less official the person doing the inspection is the better
as for flush mounts they are illegal... the law states they have to protrude out past the body work, 99% of dealers wouldn't care, but like i said our cock of a state trooper supervising our dealer forces us to go by the books, the other day he asked why our head light calibrator was dusty, he said we had to calibrate all headlights to make sure they are pointing at the exact perfect angle or else we can't pass inspection on it, but the tech's still don't pay any mind to that
