well when i had my F4 i too was looking into the tail swap. And i was informed that i would indeed need the subframe from the F4i. I would recommend you do a search on www.cbrworld.net ( i think thats the website ) if you havent already. I think there is also a website called www.cbr600. something too. One of the website has a real good write up on the parts lists and the costs of everything too. Good Luck

Scott

You need the subframe and all the brackets. That's why I just got the seat cowl.

you da man 2001 gt i found the thread i needed. i thought i did need the subframe but wanted to be sure. i figure teh targa cover is 200 and i bought the fairing for 75 and the subframes are going for 100 -120 and 50 for the two seats and i can weld teh brackets for teh fuel pump and brake reservoir myself so for an extra 50-75 dollars i get a nicer looking tail. ill post it up when i get all the parts in case anyone else is considering it.

no prob. i just ordered the subframe today. so far 75 for teh fairing, 100 for teh subframe, 60 for the two seats. as soon as they come in ill tak pics and let you all know how it goes. from what i can see i need to booger weld a fuel pump bracket and a brake reservoir bracket off the old subframe but everything else is direct bolt on.
