Ram 2500 Fuel Cap
I've got a 2013 Ram 2500 5.7 Hemi and the gas cap light came on a couple weeks ago. I made sure it was at least 3 clicks tight and continued driving. A week later it's still on so I bought a new gas cap and replaced the old one, continued driving and a week later the lights still on. Had a buddy hook it up to read the codes and only code it's showing is the loose gas cap error. Any ideas?

You likely have a leak, and it's likely not in the gas cap because it's already been replaced.
Is that 2013 still under warranty? The dealer might still fix it under goodwill if it's not. It's likely something around the fill neck clamps or the vent lines around the charcoal canister.

Re: Ram 2500 Fuel Cap
I had a gas cap leak that wasn't entirely solved with a new cap. I had to take some really fine sand paper and go around that lip where the cap's o-ring seats to clean it up. Then I hit it with some 3000 grit to polish it up a bit and it worked. I highly suggest using something flat and circular if you do this. If that surface gets uneven, it could make it worse.
