Default Clutch Advice

Hi there.. First post so go easy. I had a 5 speed JettaCity/ Bora for nearly a decade and loved it. Sadly, I lost her to a soccer mom rocking a minivan from the 80s a couple of months ago and am now in the market for a newish sedan, coupe or only if I have to, hatchback.

My question is about clutch positions. I've really enjoyed the civic Si, velosetor and of course Audi A4- as horribly out of budget as it may be. I noticed in certain cars, like the mustang, my knee literally hits my elbow when operating the clutch because its position is so high. I'm sure this can be adjusted.. But I'm also kind of like... I'm not spending upwards of 15k to need to pull my transmission apart after purchase.

Can anyone point me in the direction of vehicles with low clutch positions?

The dodge dart has that and the ford fusion with manual transmission is great as well,

Why would you need to pull the transmission apart to change the pedal position? I'm not sure how you're going to change something on the transmission that's actuated by a hydraulic line...

Also, why not move the seat back more and change the height and angle of your knee?

The clutch pedal adjustment is likely 2 nuts you need to adjust and nothing more. I wouldn't worry about it.

I run a shop and there are cars I can't stand driving due to that very reason, and trying to drive with my boots makes it a real pain in the ass
