Next year at VCU
If you don't already have a parking pass then your kinda sol. All the good ones (parking decks) usually sell out pretty quick. When you got for star you can get a pass their for whatever is available. My first year I ended up parking in the SG lot on the corner or cary and bel. It's about 3-4 blocks from class but it wasn't too bad.
i just don't want my car to be jacked/robbed/vandalized like it already has been downtown. being gutted might scare a few away, no faceplate could be another, but the wheels and exhaust could attract some. grrr, how's the security on the street parking lots? i mean, i have an alarm with starter kill and all that, but do the lots have cameras?

If you live on campus and get a premit to park in the deck IMO your car and what not will be pretty safe. Residents are required to park on the upper levels of the decks and their is 24hr parking security people that are supposta patrol the decks. but usually they just hang out at the bottom talking on the telephone or making out with their siginificant other in the little booth's....lol....but overall I'd have to say the decks are pretty safe. With an alarm you should be straight. And the little blinking security lights on the dash are always a plus.
