Anyone know what the track record for a street car is? I thought it was close to a 7.3 or so. Of course, I could be mistaken (I know that's hard to believe)...

 

Last year, my 1996 Cobra ran a 7.01 @103.xx. It' not an import, but definately a street car. (Full Interior, Power steering, and AC) I even drove it to the beach in that form.

If I had to guess, I would say there is something faster than what my car ran.

10.5 Out of a HEAVY ass Galant is not bad "imo" The only thing done to it is a K& N Filter other than that 100% Stock Right down to the Boost Settings. I had one guy tell me he thought it was going to run like 13's that it was way faster than he thought. The Biggest problem with the Car is that its underpowerd and if you dont launch just right it boogs bad.
But keep in mind thats his Daily Driver.

 

there was a galant vr4 down there??? damn thats badass.. they dont weigh THAT much, a hair under 3000 lbs i think..

 

Definately more than 3000lbs.

 

yeah, they supposedly have about 200 lbs on an awd dsm, so around 33-3400 is about right, 3500 easy with driver...

 

No, my best 1/8th ever was a 6.85@105+ This, however was not at natural bridge. The only change before racing was wheels and tires. (slix and skinnies)
