I'm assuming you aren't too car savvy since you weren't too sure what the term "bored out" meant, although you're right. You'd need a stroker kit in order to make it work, but if you wanna go hardcore you should really be more car savvy. I'm not trying to be an asshole or anything but I'm just saying, a lot of people want to do extreme things to their car just because it makes them go faster, but they fail to realize that with things of this caliber things WILL go wrong most likely. If you don't have the equipment, access, and money to effectively troubleshoot these problems, then you'll be in a world of trouble and you may be driving a car that will never be the same again. Just make sure you don't end up biting off more than you can chew.

blah, in my opinion abacus is a good choice but i'll be damned if everyone doesnt go there... therefore they can have some high ass prices and no one will care. it does not take much to do a street port job on a head. it's really not that complex. you could do it yourself if you took some time to do research and bought some tools. Bunner engine development off aberdeen road in hampton will do it. pretty much any machine shop can do a decent port job. Bunner can flowtest it for you before and afterwards too. if youre not sticking a big ass camshaft in the car or running insane amounts of boost, a mild port job and maybe some milling will do the trick. shop around... unless youre not really into saving money

just my $.02

Yea Bunner is a good machine shop. I had my last block in my old truck finished there.
Really good machine shop. I would even say one of the best in the hampton roads area.
