i admit i was the ass in that situation. i notice you didn't mention what sparked that little rant though... your comment about asian women is what set me off, and honestly if i didn't know you and you said something like that to me i seriously may have ended up swinging before better judgement would have kicked in. that's what i was trying to say. it's not like i would ever actively search someone out for something they posted on the internet.

i don't have any animosity either, i just don't like a majority of the shit you've posted lately, and you're all over the boards so it's hard not to notice. this post is a step in the right direction though.

I don't think I'm the kind of person who would come right out and say that if I didn't know who I was around. Offending some one is not my cup of tea. There are a lot of assholes on this board I just defend myself. None of this is taken seriously believe that. I never take it to that level on the internet. Maybe I'll meet you when you come down to Little Creek and by you a brew or 2 and chill.

 

Ya'll have got to stop using that, "this is the internet" excuse. We all live in pretty close distance of each other. Whatever you say on here makes you liable to get punched in the throat the first time I see you. If this were a U.S. wide forum, then maybe you could use that excuse.

 

true. but who REALLY goes up to someone and punches them in the throat for something they wrote on the internet? most people with sense realize that it's a lot easier to type something up than actually go through with it. not that this type of behavior shouldn't be expected, though, there are a lot of 16-19 year olds that might just do that, and you have to be prepared for that.

to some extent you can pull a reasonably accurate sketch of someone's character if they post a lot, but you never really know what type of person they really are until you actually meet in person. hell most of the pure dumbasses on this board could likely present themselves in person well enough for you to get along with them. or someone who you would normally be able to get along with just fine in person could set you off the wrong way on the boards. i've pissed enough people off on this board to realize this, so i'll usually say my piece and leave it on the boards, if i happen to meet someone i e-battled with in person i'll usually laugh it off unless there are extenuating circumstances. and even then, unless it's something severely personal that someone were to bring up on the board, it should be relatively easy to sweep shit under the rug unless you just have to be a badass.

it is important to realize that this is the internet. that being said, my name's andy and i will be at giant square (if you guys are still up there) probably friday and saturday night, i'll be driving a red sileighty if anyone would like to put a face to a name. if you just have to kick my ass, try and wait until saturday night to make sure my car is legal in case there is any encounters with the authorities.

back on topic, a video could actually make decent sales if it was done right. i'm not volunteering, but i wouldn't completely brush off the idea if it were presented properly.
