Would you rather have the Supra or Porsche?

Did you read my whole statement? It would cost MUCH more to get the Supra to handle anywhere near that of the 996. I am guessing in excess of 20 grand worth of custom suspension work to get it near that of a 911 Cup Racer (I bet the cars you mention spend that or more!). This is coming from a former Porsche driver, and I am on my 5th Supra. I think I know how much $ it takes to get a heavy ass Supra to handle. Sure, you can throw in a Tein suspension, but it still needs a lot of weight reduction and balancing. That's just my honest opinion. But I have wasted lot's of $ on other Supras to get very minimal results in handling.
I do agree that my MKIV handles much better than many of the cars I have owned in the past, to include one MKIII Supra Turbo that I spent way too much on the suspension upgrades on.
Peace

LOL.
The banning of awd systems surely didn't hurt that.

Honda takes victory in event-filled home race
NSX strength never in doubt - the only question was
which one would be victorious.
After dominating every session throughout Practice and Qualifying, a Honda win was expected at Twin Ring Motegi in Round 5 of SUPER GT over the September 3-4 weekend. Piloting the #100 Raybrig NSX, French driver pair Jeremie Dufour and Sebastien Philippe took a well-deserved Honda victory at the maker's home track north of Tokyo.

Divexxtreme, instead of going for either of these two cars, you should shoot for getting a new Z06.
