As far as changing the plugs it doesn't look worse than an F-body. Get out of here with your Corvette.

your buddy is getting ripped the fuck off. you can get a reman motor for less than half of that.

also, if your looking for an FD. never buy a 93. ive heard so many horror stories about that year.

An LSX RX-7 is something I'd love to drive, but changing the spark plugs looks to be a major PITA
up at jenros sometime during the summer i saw a FC with an LT1 in it. i swear that the motor looked better in the engine bay than it did in the camarp/trans am it came in. the car was seriously a PERFECT fit for that motor...

does anyone know what it takes to swap an LS1 into a FC or FD?

FD with an LS1 mmmmmmmmm i would definatley sell my car to fund that project...

oops doiuble post...

but i went on that hinson site and prced everything out... i factored in about 10,000 for the purchase of an FD (on without motor and tranny) and the LS1 motor and tranny (cinsidering i wouldn't just take mine and sell my car as a rolling chasis...)

the total came out to just under 14000, minus the cost of labor, considering i would tryo to do everything i could myself, which i don't think would be a problem...

maybe i could afford it :-)

edit: shit, really sorry about the thread jacking, i'm done :-)

Just get a 402 ls2 setup from a forum vendor making a nice 530 rwhp ($12,000), then get a built trans from Rodney at RPM ($2300) then get a shell + paint + install =)

i can't "just" get that, lol thats about the sale of my car right there...

and i dont think i wanna spend 12000 on a motor to begin with, maybe down the line, but im sure i would just drop in a stock LS1. I was thinking about it, and would it even be worth it to put a 9 inch in one of those, lol, that would probably mess the car up in the handling department, but im sure it would be fun for drag...
