He can use it if you have the specs for it. Like heat range, curing time, etc. But, like paint, candy colors are hard to match if not sprayed at the same time.
Even though the reviews have been pretty bad as of late, I gave them the benefit of the doubt based on their past reviews and I went ahead and gave them some parts for my bike to PC Vivid Black. So it's not a car and not a set of wheels, so maybe it will give others an idea of how well they do other parts. They said they should be done in a week. I'll go ahead and update this thread once I get them back. My fingers are crossed right now!
Rims are now done and look fresh as hell took a little longer than expected cause they were short on help. It was worth the extra week wait

So. First off
, Advanced Custom did my wheels along time ago, I didn't take them up there a friend did. Regardless, I was pleased with the results. Wheels are Candy Orange Volk TE37s(18s)
The centers didn't come out the way that we expected, so I stripped them down and smoothed them out. We tried to see how the powder would go over the factory Rays Engineering(Volk) rough finish. I also took a K-Series valve cover up there and had them grind off the Honda motor company logo and lettering. Then I had them powder my centers and the valve cover Candy Orange, provided by me to match my wheels.
After dealing with them SEVERAL months ago, I spread the word to friends immediately. I was treated with respect, something other shops have trouble doing. I was also spoken to and told REALISTIC goals and time-frame. I know I'm not the only customer but he gave me a date and it was done then. I felt like I was treated as a old friend. The pricing is perfect for what I had done. Other shops wouldn't even give me a call back nor would they want to work with what I wanted.
I receive compliments all the time about my wheels, covers and center caps. I WILL be going back to Advanced in the future for some motorcycle parts and for whenever my pops starts his project.
I don't know what has happened with the reviews, you only read bad and hear bad. Rarely does someone actually post a good review. Well, they have earned my seal of approval. I don't have any pictures on hand. I'm working on that.
