One of my friends (PG Cop), worked the accident. The EMS/Firefighters told him that you are very very lucky to be alive. They said it was a good thing you were driving the BMW, it saved your life.. had you been in the kia or the accord you might not be as in good of shape. Not to add insult to injury, but he said that this wreck is the worst he has seen, and the person still be alive. Somebody was watching over you. Hopes for a speedy recovery.
You are correct in the fact that the Kia was at fault. And if you need a very very good defense lawyer... I know of a great one personally that I would be more than happy to give you his information.

Wow, that sent some chills down my back with a mix of odd joy/happiness...hard to explain. Thanks for extra info but i already got a lawyer , do appreciate the offer though.
Out of curiosity, did your friend say how long the whole ordeal took? I was conscious right after the accident, then blacked out. When i came back i was still in the car and they already had the roof cut and were trying to free up my right foot.

I don't know if he was the first on scene, but he did state that you were blacked out for most of it.. You came in and out a few times. He didn't state how long it took. I can ask him tonight. I am not sure how much info he could release to me to be honest so I wasn't going to push it. I just told him it was a member of this board, and that you had posted some pics of it.

Also.. in case you wanted to know.. your rear bumper was thrown 40 feet from the car, and you took down some trees.
Where exactly where you on Rt. 10? Was it passed the gas station on the right before you go down into that big bottom?

I had a cute blond and a brunette do me after the chopper (with great personalities)...what are the chances of that?! When i was at the burn unit(no rooms elsewhere i think) nurses were awesome...one resembled Jessica Alba no joke. But as soon as i got transferred to the Ortho floor all i had to look at was old saggy unattractive etc.... Very Very sad ending.

Shes the driver of the Kia, cause of the accident.
I've decided to go with Kalfus Nachman to work for me and all medical bills SHOULD be covered less the 2500 deductible with my Anthem medical. So all is not that bad.
Only thing i've done was research to back up my vehicle value figure(in case they try to give less). Such as avrg for similar model within 300 miles radius, plus nada, kbb. Just hope shes not limited to 20k, but even if she is i m still staying positive.
Just looking forward to surgery Tuesday and trying not to think of anything else. I got to tell you the worst thing about this injury at this point is feeling my toes literally dangle in the half-cast as all they got holding them in is skin....such a fucking gross feeling. AND since i have to try keep moving the foot/toes to help the swelling its makes it just that much worse lol.
