The evo and the sti are both very extraordinary cars both capable of pushing power and torque throughout the whole power scale. The evo having lower compression I think about 8:1 and the sti at about 10:1 not quoting going off the top of my head. But me personally I like the evo because the engine is fairly easy and to me not as complex as the sti. To others it might seem different but I would go with the evo personally.

 

Compare all these things and choose. Also if you are going to do some modding
within the warrenty period make sure the dealership are not dicks about it. Remeber
be a good consumer and do your homeworkand dont rush. As for me I would lean
more toward the EVO b/c it is more in my price range and the fun factor is still there!

the evo is cheaper.....which kinda sucks....you do get a radio too....

But its a weak ass car compaired to the sti. Think about it like last night.....The evo is pretty much....leos car sept slower which he can vouch for cuz hes driven one. He drove suprasuby john's STI to bills and fliped out about it all night. nuff proof with out a test drive right there. The 4g63 is done. everyone knows what to expect already. So if you want to know the potential just go to the DSM forums its the same old shit.

 

maybe you're thinking wrx... STi tranny is good for over 400 whp
