S2000, because it out performs the crap out of an IS screw looking pimp, i go faster then you and handle better, with the top down period. The aftermarket is just as good if not better for the s2000. I've driven both while the IS has some high points i would only buy it if i wanted a sedan, and for the money you would find me in an EVO long before an IS. The only way the IS is fast is with ALOT of money ie: turbo kit from 4K up to a 3s-Ge swap

That's not too shabby for a FWD Family car if you ask me.
but they are HUGE in size compared to the other too. then again, just makes it that much more impressive. i think the capabilities for power from an is300 is much better than from the s2k. i see the s2k as something that has to stay on the road course to feel at home, whereas i can see an is300 on the road course, at the drag strip for a weekend, or just cruising from club to club or down the strip, with enough seats to hold you and a few friends.
IS300+2jzgtte+deep dish rims+vertex body kit....oh man so sexy....
would make a nice drift car, road race car, daily driver car, drag car, cruising car...even if u dont do anything to it its still roomier and nice
but for real....it all depends on what your preference is and what you're looking to get out of purchasing either car.....
