YOU really are a dumb ass arent you? look at EEK's post I belive on page 4. I never knew for sure the mechanic was stealing but I herd about it after my buddies cars both got stolen that had motors and turbo's installed from that company. I just stated facts. My buddies car got stolen that were worked on from that shop and from EEK's post you can see the mechanic went to jail for that. Another thing I stated was there work is shady they fucked up my gauges and they have no way to tune cars after they throw a turbo kit on the car ect ect.. plus ive herd and EEK can varify this that they sell blown motors or motors that are soon to blow up. Another thing I stated is they are not a great shop, there work conditions are all dirty and they really dont have the mechanic's they should. That business started as back yard mechanic's workin together and trying new things. They dont know all there parts they sell, nor do they give as good as service as other shops like Inline Pro. Vertex has more SHOW then they do GO. They show up to local spots like manassas to show off there riced out lambo doors and strobed out head lights and there bad ass system and TV's. Look if im gonna let a shop work on my car its going to be a shop that is respected and has had not to many problems and have reliable trust worhty mechanic's. Take Nu image and Inline pro. Ive never persoanlly delt or talked with any one from Nu image but i like there shop because ive seen positive results at the track with there 10 sec integra's and Ive personally raced and talked to the owner many times Jon of Inline pro and a few of there mechanic's like Matt and Brian and I gotta give those guys ALOT!!! of credit they know EXACTLY what the fuck there doing and what there talken about and they dont have to 2nd guess a part or ask 10 people what a part is for a car. Now get your head out of your ass and read all the post before coming on here looking like a faggot trying to be a E-THUG and a typical drag va'er. Facts are Facts and IMO vertex stands no chance against REAL shops like Inline Pro. FACT STATED. Now LD S13 says there a better shop now and if thats case hell yea I support any shop that is doing better. But as far as I know for sure... all I can say from my experience is bad stuff so im taking into what I think and telling people what I have to go on. LD S13 thinks differnt and he is titled to his own oppion and I support that. I really hope they are trying to make a differance and not be a ghetto shop like ive seen and herd about.

 

haha..my motor had just about no 3rd and two other gears were grinding..the guy didnt give me all my mounts and kept avoiding my phone calls...

they get most their motors from noyan. on a rare occassion that the motor blows they bitch at noyan and get them to send another, and dont charge for the next install as it should be done. cant really blame the condition of the motor on the shop, they just install it. noone really knows the condition of the motor (unless they tear it apart and put it back together) until its driven. im not sure how it was in the past... but this is how they do it now.

 

noyan imports motors, they really dont know if the motor is blown or not thats why they give a warrenty on there motors. vertex,inline,abacus..and a lot more shops get there motors from them..i highly doubt vertex would bitch at noyans though

 

lol. jason your car may be tt but you are LD. First off if vertex has installed motors that are soon blow you can blame noyan for that because i know for a fact that noyan supplies motors to vertex. second off just becase eek says someone went to jail or is in jail doesn't mean shit. the reason they dont have a dyno is probably because of people lik you constantly tlking shit and hurting their business. You cant just go down to the local pas dealer and pick up a dyno dumbass those things are close to 100grand. As for nu image and inline pro yeah that's great they have race cars but just because a shop doesn't doesn't mean they are not capable of the same qaulity work. Yeah vertex may not be able to tune your car on a dyno after they install a turbo or whatever but their prices reflect that. Vertex told me anywhere from 800-1000 for a turbo install inline pro said 1450 with 2 dyno pulls.

 

Man seriously why do you come into threads that deal with shop credibility and try to defend each one? Does it matter? No. The 10 people that come on here that see this arent going to kill vertex's shop. Theyve been around for a while and who the fuck cares if some people think that. let it go mighty Mouse. I just feel bad for people that have to depend on shops.

 

Steve is cool and he took care of me the 1 and only time I got work done at Vertex. Mike, the one who did the work was cool too and was nice enough to describe the work he was doing while he was doing it to my car. I wonder if steve ever got his white car running, last time I remember, it was a shop queen.
