how would you compare the two? do you think adding 2psi is less stressful on the engine than 2000RPM? there is a formula floating around, of course i can't remember it but it's something to the effect that as your RPM's increase the stress increases exponentially? bah math sucks anyways
I believe it's squared - so 8k rpm's would put 64x the stress of 1k rpm on your engine.
I know of a couple that were cryo-treated but those guys were relatively easy on their cars anyway, so who knows if it helped. Other than that I don't know what else can be done. Most people concentrating on the diff and axles. When the guys making the big power start going through trannies, some better solutions will become available
