Cycle whore thread
Is this all personal or are you a dealer?
Another question for everyone: I love my CBR, but at times I feel like my nuts are getting destroyed against the tank. Seat position better on the r6's or other related models?
City riding yesterday to a happy hour with the BSSC I caught a bump in my lane, no way to avoid it, and actually popped up in the air off my seat. Mildly exciting, but scary at the same time.

I have had a few cbr's as well and they are good to ride but the seat sucks and a lot of weight was put on my wrists. The power was sluggish to come on and felt like the gears were just too long. I think with a good set of sprockets.. The bike would come alive.
The gsxr has a power closer to that of the R6.... But sacrificing comfort and the bike doesn't feel as nimble.
I won't speak on the kawi's cause I have owned a 05 and 06 636 and I rode a 09 zx6r and they are completely differnt bikes. Neither are super comfortable but the 09 was far superior.. And it was really obvious.
Ever ride on 95? jesus... No way to see them coming half the time. I've popped 12 inches off my seat multiple times.

There are parts of 95 where I refuse to sit down. I just ride with butt off seat entirely.

[QUOTE=gnarlycharlie4u;7142911]First night I rode it back I was still on 395 coming out of arlington... hit a blind bump.. Almost did a handstand it bucked me so much. A cop was right next to me when it happened. He looked over like "OH SHIT You lucky little bastard"

[QUOTE=AfricanChild;7142919]I said that to myself and laughed. I don't have much riding experience compared to you all, but feel more confident knowing that we've encountered some of the same issues. Definitely feel like there is a good bit of weight on my wrists, but I feel very nimble on it. I only have my 250r to compare to and they are worlds apart!
Edit: Quotes all screwed up haha

well at least you got to keep the bike.
