Good idea:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyfiIxf29JQ&feature=related equally as bad of an idea as grabbing a handfull of brake while turning is grabbing a handfull of throttle while dragging a knee.

First one looked like he just took a bad line and over-corrected. Second one, he got scared and locked up the front. On top of not having good gear. Sucks to be him.

He said that they (the cyclists) never crossed the yellow lines. Which in the truck drivers defense is not accurate. The front rider crossed the double yellow to pass the truck in a no pass zone. Technically if the rider had followed the rules of the road (not to mention they were definitely going faster than the speed limit...I would think) and waited for a broken line to pass it might have been averted all together.
