ZJ aren't that bad. I've got a friend now that did a spacer lift (for now) and trimmed his fenders for 33s. Hes only running 31s right now, looking for some taller tires.

As far as the XJ goes, Ebay has the easy 2" spacer front and aal rear spring for like $ 100. BoostHappy here put one on his XJ and it looks pretty good. With mild trimming (or not worrying about it) he could clear 31s just fine. Just depending on the condition of the rear springs, if its sagging it will continue with the aal. But for keeping it cheap and easy, spacers and aal. For the ZJ.... a spacer lift is cheapest and easiest. Something to just play around in.

Just keeping up w/ the thread title.

I think I found a winner today. 98 grand cherokee limited 4x4 with the 5.2L White on black leather interior (rare) and this thing is mint. Somelittle old lady owned it. It has 80k miles on it. Service records from day 1. And she has no idea what she has so she's letting it go for what she thinks a normal 1998 vehicle goes for.

My top will be here tomorrow.

It was a pretty day today. Of course the rain is supposed to start tonight and last all week.

Getting my Goodyear MTR's with Kevlar put on Thursday morning. Excited!

Hell yeah man! Pics will ensue? How much you end up paying for the MTR? (if ya don't mind)

Right around $1050 (for 4), mounted/balanced, with free rotation and re-balancing. I can get the tires cheaper online, but that nullifies the free rotation, and doubles the cost of mounting/balancing. It would barely be cheaper/worth it if I took my own, so I'm just going to suck it up and go with it. I'm hoping to sell my tires to a friend for a little bit of pocket change.

...and of course pictures will follow

Nice! Thats a pretty good package deal, it is cheaper online but like you said, the m/b wouldn't be included. Can't wait for pics w/ new top and tires!

Started removing the pin stripes.. it was fucked up in a few places so I decided to get rid of it

I like it already; got the driver's side fender and door clean. Doing this also made me realize how badly my truck could use some wax.. so I'll be doing that this weekend

I pleaded with them to see if they'd consider price matching or at least being more competitive and he mentioned that they do the mounting, balancing, rotation, and re-balancing and it's all included so I decided not to pass on it. It's a clean, professional shop as far as I can tell so I'm hoping I don't have to worry about seeing my Jeep up on wood blocks having the tires changed with a couple jacks underneath it. I feel like it was a reasonable price at least. I got my Rampage top and header channel for $420.00 shipped and it will be here tomorrow. Considering I got the sailcloth version, I think I did pretty well on that one too.
