Anybody take day trips (to/from same day) on their bike? Im looking for new ideas, partial list of what I have done:
nags head, hatteras, and everything inbetween
blacksburg (tech game)
lexington, nc (memorial ride)
harrisonburg (to ride 33 and have lunch with sister)
landover, md (redskin game)
farmville, va (visit friend)
lancaster county (family)
Clarksville (lake fest)
richmond (bored)
elizabeth city (headlights) and dismal swamp roads (fun)
suffolk/460/58 area (it was fun just to get lost on the backroads for the better part of the day)
knotts island to yorktown pub using all backroads (including the ferry)
wintergreen area (fun small mountain roads)
nags head, hatteras, and everything inbetween

You'd have to take highways to get out there in time to do some decent daylight riding. And that's no fun.
