Ya def small, but I remember going last year. Used bloodworms, caught one flouder. Filet the flouder and used it as bait, then caught a hefty 8 more good sized flounders with that first flounder being bait.

I think that is illegal. Flounder size is 18.5 inch minimum this year.

You can drink on Ocean View, and on Lynnhaven pier, and they are both 24 hours.

Went camping @ Kiptopeke State Park last week, and fished some of the bridge pylons on the northern end of the CBBT. Bought some bait (clam) and set up a couple of poles to fish for spadefish and caught a couple of these bad boys:



I believe these are quite common around any structures around the CBBT.

Yes sir, thats a nice 1.. I caught 1 a hair smaller then that last night off Seagull peir..

And this 64lber was caught right next to me Saturday morning.. Took him almost 2 hours to get him on the pier from the time he hooked it..

I left the pier a few hours before this was caught. How did he lift it on to the pier?

2 seperate Gafts..

Were you out thursday night?

I saw an S2000 out there when I left.. fishing was terrible that night.. Nothing but Sharks and Skates..

S2000 has been sold for almost a year and a half. I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee now. Was not there thursday, generally go Friday nights, and sometimes on Saturday afternoon.

What bait do you use for the speck trout or the drum?
I've been fishing near the hot ditch for the past few weeks with squid and we're only catching croakers.
